Opal was born December, 2012.

 

She is a Friesian Warmblood filly by Yasper, from a registered cremello QH mare, Crystal.​ She will mature 15.2hh+, and will be very broad.

 

Opal has the most gorgeous ringletty tail, and a very thick, wavy mane. She has long hair already, so should be able to grow an eye catching mane without any trouble.

 

She is a buckskin, making her rare - there arent many buckskin Friesian Warmbloods in Australia! And if she is bred back to a Friesian stallion later in life, her offspring will be either buckskin or black :)

 

But Opal isn't just about her colour... She is beautifully put together, is powerful in her trot, and has that gorgeous smooth Quarterhorse canter that would be a holiday to ride. She would be suited for anything from pleasure riding and pretty paddock friend, to eventing or dressage.



Opal is a special filly, and was going to be retained by the stud until our recent change in circumstances. Price reduced for a quick sale.



Opal is now available, and registerable with theFriesian Warmblood societies in Australia, and also the Dilute associations.​
